Volunteers are needed to assist in our Activity Therapy program. Hours and duties are varied. Volunteers are needed to assist with craft activities, parties, pushing residents in wheelchairs to and from activities, one on one visiting with residents.
Activity Therapy program is open Mon-Sun, 9a-8p.

Description
Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill (DHCI) is the largest nursing home in the State of Delaware. DHCI first opened its doors in 1933 as a statewide Welfare home to replace the county almshouses. DHCI has evolved over time from a welfare home to hospital to what it is today - a long-term care facility licensed as a nursing home providing nursing and medical care at the skilled and intermediate levels. Admission requirements include both a financial and medical need.
