Event Leadership Board Members needed in the Kalamazoo area, who are looking for an opportunity to serve, build their network, utilize and build their leadership skills, while making an impact in the lives of babies and families.
Openings for board leadership for March of Dimes events in the Kalamazoo market. Board members will focus on increasing revenue through the two major events, March for Babies and Signature Chefs Auction, in order to continue our mission of giving all babies a fighting chance through the prevention of premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to give all babies a fighting chance through the prevention of premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
Description
The March of Dimes mission is to give all babies a fighting chance through the prevention of premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. In order to support our mission we focus on the following areas: Researching causes of prematurity and other issues related to the health of moms and babies. Providing support and funding for community programs to help women have healthy pregnancies. Advocating for screenings and other important issues that impact the health of moms and babies. Educating women, families and healthcare providers on the causes of prematurity, benefits of healthy pregnancies and providing resources for moms and families in underserved areas. Finally, we provide support to families impacted by prematurity, birth defects and infant mortality through our NICU support programs and Share Your Story platforms.
