This volunteer position requires extra training time and experience. Because of the important nature of this volunteer position, a potential Circulation Desk Assistant Volunteer must be recommended by a current Library Staff Member.
This position is the most visible and requires the most training of all of our volunteer positions. We require that a potential Library Circulation Desk Assistant Volunteer, 1) works as a volunteer in another capacity at the branch for a pre-determined amount of time; and/or 2)has professional or para-professional experience working in a public library; then 3)is recommended by a current staff member for this special volunteer position.
