Purpose: Assist with fundraising for annual events supporting Circle Tail; Annual Golf Classic, Dog Walk, Community relation events. Includes helping with the identification and solicitation of potential sponsors and donors.

Opportunities: · Assist in identifying community businesses or individuals to approach for fundraising event donations. · Place calls to corporations and others to obtain contact names and address information. · Recruit golfers for the Annual Golf Classic. · Prepare cover letters and sponsorship packets for mailing / e-mailing. · Make follow-up calls to answer questions and secure donations. · Inform Development committee of prospective donors. · Assist in record keeping and gift acknowledgements. · Assist in mailing of sponsor packets, save the date cards, invitations and other large mailings.

Description

Circle Tail, Inc. provides service and hearing dogs to people with disabilities at no cost to the individual. Circle Tail also strives to be a resource in the community to strengthen the human-canine bond, ensuring more dogs find permanent, loving homes from the time of adoption and throughout the lifetime of the pet. We provide low-cost training, and offer advice on basic dog care as well as specific behavioral issues.
