3HC Home Health and Hospice is seeking volunteers in Sampson and Cumberland county area. Hospice Volunteers provide companionship, respite, emotional, and spiritual support for patients as well as family members in their greatest time of need. Volunteers provide support to patients who may be in nursing homes, resthomes, or in their private home. Volunteers with clerical skills can serve hospice by helping in our Clinton Clinical office with administrative duties.
All volunteers are required to complete an application, submit to a criminal background check, drug test, and tuberculin skin test. This is at no cost to the volunteer. To ensure that volunteers are equipped to work with hospice, all volunteers complete a training program. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
