We are seeking compassionate and caring people. As a volunteer of AseraCare, you will provide companionship and support to patients and families in our hospice program.

Dedicated to being a friend in an end of life journey, volunteers will provide the following to patients and families:

  • Be a listening ear to stories
  • Provide brief relief to caregivers (i.e. running errands, grocery shopping)
  • Read to patients
  • Offer support to families after a passing
Volunteers are non-medical and do not feed or administer medication to patients. You will need to have flexible availability to meet with patients and families at times that are convenient for them. Here at AseraCare, we travel throughout the Fresno, Madera and Tulare Counties, visiting patients and families in their own homes, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities.

Please contact Justin Kamimoto, Volunteer Coordinator, for more information.
