Looking for a fun, fulfilling, and nurturing place to volunteer? Join us at The GreenHouse! The families, kids, volunteers, and staff at The GreenHouse create a learning environment full of life and warmth. As a volunteer Adventure Guide, you will discover the joy of making a difference, one youth at a time.
Liquid, a summer day camp for teens, provides a safe, nurturing environment during the summer where teens can learn, be creative, have fun, connect, and build positive relationships with their peers and community. Students go on field trips in the community and participate in enrichment workshops. Liquid runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-5:30.
The GreenHouse is a community enrichment center that offers tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, spiritual development, recreation, and enrichment activities for under-resourced youth in the Gardenland-Northgate neighborhood of Sacramento. Our mission is to cultivate a thriving community by nurturing the emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical development of our youth and inspiring them to grow to their full potential.
Volunteers must: complete an application, be interviewed, and be fingerprinted; attend a Training session; commit to volunteering at least one day a week for 5 weeks; be at least 18 years old.

The GreenHouse is located at the heart of a community of amazing strength, resilience and creativity.
This block is home to more than 1000 people, many of whom have recently immigrated from as many as

here is vibrant.
