ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Teach ESL!
Help students in building a strong foundation and confidence in speaking English

Support students in building a strong English foundation

Position Hours:

  • Mondays - Thursdays 5:00 - 7:45 P.M.

Requirements: Fluency in English and ability to volunteer at least 2.75 hours per week. Patience.

Desired Skills: Experience working with low-intermediate ESL students. Asian language skills are helpful, (especially Vietnamese), but not required.

Minimum Age Requirement: 16 Duration Requirement: 3 months/1 quarter
Assist the teacher by providing individual help to students, answering questions, and other classroom activities. Class is taught by experienced volunteer or professional instructor. Learn more about teaching English!

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
