We are looking for mature, reliable, compassionate people who are 18 and over to volunteer with Grane Hospice. We are looking for people to:
* VISIT WITH HOSPICE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES AND READ A BOOK, HOLD A HAND, OR JUST TALK OR
* HELP WITH ERRANDS SUCH AS LIGHT HOUSEWORK OR GROCERY SHOPPING TO ENSURE PEACE OF MIND OR
* PROVIDE CLERICAL SERVICES SUCH AS FILING, FAXING, MAKING PACKETS, OR
* CREATE CRAFTS FOR THE PATIENT OR THEIR ROOMS IN YOUR OWN HOME TO UPLIFT THE SPIRITS AND
* MAKE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME
Volunteers will receive specialized hospice training. Description
Lending a Caring Hand
Grane Hospice Care employs compassionate and caring adults to volunteer either individually or as a group. Volunteers can expect becoming a member of a specialized group of healthcare professionals whose purpose is to make hospice patients as comfortable and full filled as possible during the end of their lives. There are many different ways to volunteer: sharing music, holding hands, pet therapy, reading aloud, or just taking the time to listen. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of others with Grane Hospice Care, please submit the Volunteer Application below.
