Welcome new Tucsonans! -- Furnish homes for refugees prior to their resettlement in our community.
- Assist in furnishing apartments with furniture and household goods
- Work with case managers to make sure home meets all requirements
- Keep track of your hours & submit them to the volunteer coordinator at the end of each month.

Description
Refugees are among the world's most vulnerable and displaced people. They are individuals and families that were forced out of their homeland due to persecution or the well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership in a social group or political opinion.
Our program emphasizes attaining self-sufficiency by learning English and obtaining employment of refugees.
