Training in February 2017. Apply Now! Come join a team of Insect Ambassadors at the Smithsonian's Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Zoo! Share your interest in butterflies, insects, and the natural world with the museum's diverse visitors.

Being an Insect Ambassador in the Insect Zoo is vital in engaging the minds of our visitors. You can inspire conversations and be a guide into the world of insects. As an Insect Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to participate in any combination of the following exciting opportunities:
o Encouraging visitors to get a closer look with live insect handling
o Giving tarantula feeding demonstrations
o Leading activities highlighting amazing insect adaptations
o Sparking visitor curiosity through engaging interactions
o And so much more!

Requirements:
MUST BE 18 years and older

Training:
3 hour Museum Orientation session. Also must attend 7.5 hour class in Sunday, February 19th, 2017.

Commitment:
1 year minimum. 8 hours per month. Shifts are 9:45am-1:45pm and 1:15pm-5:15pm
