ORGANIZATION: Loudoun Free Clinic

  • 19 people are interested

Here at Loudoun Free Clinic, we provide free healthcare to low-income, uninsured adults in Loudoun County. We have a small core staff, but the vast majority of our providers and nurses are our incredible volunteers.

Are you a CNA, RN, LPN, CMA, EMT, or pharmacist? Want to help bring medical services to people in need? We need your help with morning, afternoon, or evening shifts. Insurance is provided through VA Risk Management.

Because we rely on and invest in our volunteers so heavily, we do ask for a commitment of at least six months.

If you are able to come in for a regular shift every week, that would be best, but if your schedule only permits a shift once every two weeks or once every month, we can work with that, too!

If you are interested in this opportunity, please fill out an application form, which can be found on our website at http://www.loudounfreeclinic.org/become-a-volunteer.html.

Any questions? Please feel free to contact Lisa Hebert, Volunteer Coordinator, at lhebert@loudounfreeclinic.org if you would like more information.

Many of our patients speak Spanish, so if you happen to be a bilingual nurse/pharmacist/EMT, you've come to just the right place! And if you don't speak Spanish, don't worry - we have some pretty wonderful volunteer interpreters, too.
