About

Road to Recovery is a service offered by the American Cancer Society in which volunteer drivers provide cancer patients transportation to and from their cancer treatments and treatment related appointments. Drivers donate their time and the use of their personal vehicles to help ensure that cancer patients get the lifesaving treatments they need. The American Cancer Society coordinates the Road to Recovery program, from training the volunteer drivers to scheduling the transportation pick-ups. The Society maintains specific standards for the responsibilities of these drivers. As a volunteer driver, you can set your own schedule. Offer as much or as little time as your schedule allows.
