Retriever Rescue of Colorado (RROC) needs foster homes for dogs that may otherwise be euthanized through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN! Economics and foreclosures are putting extra pressure on municipal shelters and rescues are doing their best to save the lives of perfectly great dogs and puppies!
We try to rescue all retriever breeds and mixes from that sad fate and get them into foster homes so they can be socialized, fed, sheltered, assessed and well-loved before heading to their Forever Homes.

We provide all supplies: collar, leash, crate, high quality dog food, and cover all necessary medical expenses. Join a great group of volunteers who are available to you for training tips, weekend or vacation coverage, and support! We work with you to find your perfect foster dog!

Mission Statement
Believing that all Retrievers deserve a safe, loving home, the mission of Retriever Rescue of Colorado is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted retrievers and to promote public education on animal-related issues. Rescued breeds will include Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Curly Coated Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.

Retriever Rescue of Colorado helps homeless retrievers find their forever homes. We are also an organization dedicated to educating the public on animal related issues. Anyone passionate about animals is welcome.
