Tangram is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit United Way Agency based in Indianapolis, Indiana serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Central Indiana. We are looking for volunteers to share their talents. Tangram is looking for volunteers to assist with our Discovery Program, a program offers personal enrichment opportunities, community involvement, and exposure to new ideas and topics of interest to those we serve. Tangram clients are interested in: art, music, technology training, advocacy, cycling, fishing, knitting, healthy cooking and MORE! You can lead a weekly or monthly class, give a one-time presentation or demonstration, lead a community gathering, and more! Group/One-time Volunteer opportunities available.

Tangram creates extraordinary lives for persons living with disability...far beyond what most believe is possible. As a United Way 501(c)3 community benefit organization, Tangram helps individuals with disabilities and their families plan, support and sustain ways to live actively and independently within their communities throughout central Indiana.
Our Services
Tangram provides customized support for people with disabilities, realizing that the disability may define some of their challenges, but it does not define or limit their humanity. Tangram partners with our clients as they pursue life, liberty and happiness. Tangram services include:
