Community Based Program: You will spend 4-8 hours/month with your Little (mentee) out in the community. With consent of the parent you can do activities that interest you both, such as hiking, making crafts, watching a movie, visiting a museum or library, etc.
School Based Program: Volunteers meet with their Little (mentee) during school or after-school for an hour each week Meetings occur at a local elementary/middle school or an after-school site. Activities include educational games, homework, or simply talking about their dreams and aspirations.

Description
We are a 1-to-1 mentoring program. We recruit, screen, match and supervise adults who become friends, role models, and mentors to at-risk children in San Juan County (serving Aztec, Bloomfield, Farmington, Kirtland, Nenahnezad, Newcomb, and Shiprock). Children and families are also screened to determine whether this program is appropriate for them.
