TALMAR Gardens & Horticultural Center is always looking for new volunteers. We have plenty of opportunities available including transplanting in our greenhouse, planting flowers outside, office work, grant writing, cutting and arranging flowers and much more! We will work with you to meet your community service hour needs, whether it be one, five or 50 hours.
Our philosophy at TALMAR is "The more, the merrier!" Volunteers at TALMAR have the ability to work with individuals with disabilities. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we invite all individuals of all ages and abilities to participate. Description
TALMAR provides vocational and horticultural therapy programming to youth and adults of all abilities. We also train military veterans in sustainable agriculture through a partnership with the Veteran Administration. Our farm provides services to individuals and groups throughout the season. We are a working vegetable and cut flower farm in Parkville MD.
