Front Door
Rogue Gallery on 3rd Friday

Here at the Rogue Gallery we love our volunteers! As the oldest non-profit arts organization in the state, we rely heavily on our volunteers to help us conduct the many fun activities we offer to the community year round.

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. The largest demand we have for volunteers are front desk volunteer and studio volunteer. As a front desk volunteer be one of the first to see new exhibits and class catalogs, help with sales, and meet interesting and talented artists, students, and art supporters! Studio volunteers help with the many classes we offer for all ages and skill levels in our Rogue Studio.

All training will be provided, and our friendly staff is always more than happy to answer any questions you may have. In return for your time and effort you will:

* Receive a 10% discount on classes and workshops.

* Receive a 10% discount on retail items in the gallery’s Artisan Gift Shop.

* Help a wonderful non-profit organization.

Mission Statement

To enliven the individual and enrich the community through inspirational visual art experiences.

Description

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center is a non-profit community art center located in the heart of Downtown Medford, OR. Founded in 1960 by artists and educators we promote and provide for the study, development, exhibition, and appreciation of art in the Rogue Valley. Community support allows us to provide a wide range of art classes and workshops, for all ages & skill levels in the Rogue Studio, giving both amateur and professional adult artists the chance to learn, network, and benefit. Our activities for children & teens meet a vital need at a time when arts education in public schools is disappearing. Our four gallery spaces feature unique rotating art exhibitions in a wide range of media from internationally acclaimed artists to local emerging artists. Our Artisan Gift Shop has one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts from hundreds of local artists. We also hold monthly receptions every 3rd Friday of the month from 5-8pm, and Family Saturdays once a month, both of which are always free to the public. Please see our website for more information: http://www.roguegallery.org/.
