Make a difference in your community by sharing your technical and computer skills with library users! The East San Jose Carnegie Branch Library of the San Jose Public Library seeks helpful, patient volunteers to serve as Tech Mentors, answering specific user questions and helping library patrons master computer skills. Volunteers work one-on-one with our users to help them use Microsoft Word and Excel, set up an email account, apply for jobs online, and use our pay for print system. We are looking for English, Spanish and Vietnamese speakers. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are looking for someone to teach our Computer Basics class which meets on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. If you are unavailable to teach this class, we can work with your schedule to set up a different weekly schedule for you.
