Tech Mentor

Are you computer savy? Do you enjoy helping others learn to become computer literate? Then being a Tech Mentor is the volunteer position for you! We are looking for tech savvy people to assist library patrons with computer problems such as: creating e-mail accounts, password recovery, attaching documents and photos to e-mail, online resumes, and other common computer concerns.

A Tech Mentor makes themselves available to answer patron questions during set sessions several times a month. A Tech Mentor MUST be extremely computer literate and have extensive knowledge of computer basics such as e-mail, Microsoft Office, and basic operating systems. Other computer knowledge is a high plus and we can tailor the Tech Mentor program to highlight any specific skill sets.
