Volunteers are being sought to serve a key role for Travelers Aid of the Inland Empire at Ontario International Airport. The organization needs happy volunteers to staff information desks and roam at the terminals to answer airport and community questions of visitors. Founded in 1984 as a program of Travelers Aid Society of Los Angeles, Travelers Aid of the Inland Empire is the leading agency in the Inland Valley to provide emergency transportation services to stranded travelers and victims of domestic violence. To provide information and referral services at Ontario International Airport.

Description

Travelers Aid recruits and maintains a corps of 80 community volunteers. Volunteers provide concierge service at two information booths at Ontario International Airport 7 days/week serving 4 hour shifts. Four case aids provide direct assistance through case intake work-ups 5 days/week for 3 hour shifts.
