Math Tutors Needed
121 people are interested
Orange Literacy needs tutors to help adult learners to improve their math skills in order to earn their GED, enter college or improve their job skills. Most students need help in reviewing and perfecting basic math operations, dealing with fractions, decimals, and percents, and understanding charts and graphs. A few advanced students need help with algebra. All tutors can state their preference regarding level of student they would like to work with and math topics they feel comfortable with. Tutors meet with individual students or small groups at least twice a week for an hour and a half each session. No prior tutoring or teaching experience is necessary. Training is provided. Both daytime and evening hours are available.
