The WorldBeat Cultural Center will be hosting our 28th Annual Multi-Cultural Earth Day on Sunday April 28, 2019 and we need your help!

Event Details

There will be live music and performances, vegetarian food, vendors, and family activities. The event will be taking place indoors and outdoors

Key note speakers talking about: climate change, "Save you seeds", and water conservation

Volunteer meeting: April 23, 2019 st 7 pm

Event date: Sunday, April 28, 2019

Location: WorldBeat Cultural Center, 2100 Park Blvd. San Diego, CA 92101

Cost: Free!

Volunteer Opportunities:

We ask for volunteers to commit to volunteering for the entire event. We will provide all volunteers with a free meal and breaks.

• Greeters - talk to attendees and obtain names for mailing lists, hand out event flyer's, recruit new volunteers, etc.

• Event Assistants - Set up and/or break down event, assist event staff

• One World Cafe (kitchen) - Prep, serve, and sell food & drinks at inside and outside food booths

• Maintenance - Set up, upkeep of event grounds, break down - recycling, trash, clean up.

• Garden - help sell plants, provide garden information to guests, manage garden activities
