Our Volunteers know the House inside and out and approach their volunteerism with full commitment and the knowledge of what the House really means to the children and families that call it their "home-away-from home". The Front Desk is the hub of Ronald McDonald House! Volunteers are the first people our families, visitors and staff meet when they enter through the doors of Ronald McDonald House of Memphis. The House is open seven days per week, 365 days per year. Volunteers are scheduled to work 4-hour shifts on a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, or as-needed basis.
SHIFT TIMESShifts are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., seven days per week.
Minimum age is 18 years old.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis, at no charge to our guests, provides supportive services and keeps families close while their children are receiving treatment for cancer and other catastrophic childhood illnesses at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
