Suicide Prevention Service is looking for new suicide crisis line volunteer responders. Join us for a rewarding experience while learning active listening skills, self-care, and suicide and crisis intervention techniques. Training begins Friday, January 31 st, 2020!

To provide suicide and crisis intervention, community education and outreach, grief support and referrals to persons at risk of suicide and suicidal behavior in Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito Counties.
Suicide Prevention Service has been providing services for the residents of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties for over 45 years. We are dedicated to supporting the health and well being of our community, while also providing life-sustaining services for the most vulnerable and at-risk residents. Services include a nationally-accredited 24-hr multilingual suicide crisis line, community education for potentially at-risk individuals, families, teachers, first responders, and anyone else interested. Bereavement support services are also available for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
