Road to Recovery is a national volunteer program that provides free transportation to cancer patients to and from their treatment appointments. Volunteers use their own vehicle and donate their time and gas. Drivers may volunteer a few times a week or once a month, whatever their availability allows for. Patients are required to give four business day notice and must be ambulatory, or bring a caregiver with them to assist.
