At Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, volunteers may be seen everywhere! Volunteers greet visitors, are docents on the live animal exhibit trail, help out program instructors, garden in Kirkwood Gardens, and assist with facilities, animal care, office, special events, and single one-day projects. Description
The Science Center is a non-profit educational facility consisting of 200 acres of land with four trails and a variety of interactive exhibits and programs. Live animals represent species native to the area. Our Trails are open to the public May 1 through Nov. 1.
