Horse Leader and Sidewalkers

The horse leader is responsible for the horse. You will walk on the left side of the horse with the lead rope in your hand, and you are in charge of the pace of the horse, and the direction it is heading in during the lesson. The leader is usually someone who has had horse experience, and feels comfortable at the head of the horse.
