Would you like to be a part of a truly worthy cause while changing your life forever?
Baylor Scott & White Hospice would like you to join our hospice team as a hospice volunteer. As a volunteer you may choose to visit with patients, make phone calls, general office work and bereavement support.
Volunteers are vital in caring for the terminally ill and their family.
The volunteers also have a Lunch Bunch that meets monthly and an in-service/craft day once a month.
Come to one, both or none. Great group of long time volunteer group.

Description
Hospice is a concept of care for those living with a terminal illness. Hospice allows patients to receive care in the comfort of their home surrounded by family and friends.
Volunteers may choose to visit a patient, offering companionship , read to the patient, help with errands for the patient/caregiver, sitting to provide respite for the caregiver. No experience required, just need to have the heart to help people in their final journey.
