We have two types of fosters needs.. (1). NURSING MOMS & kittens... & (2) single kittens... weaned that may have a special need such as a cold/broken leg, diarrhea etc..

1. NURSING MOMS.. requires up to 8 week commitment.. Training and support provided. Emergency cell always available.. Must weigh kittens every day.. (food scale or if you wish to sign up long term.. we can get you a scale to use).. We take kittens back at 2.2# (generally at 9 weeks of age) for spay/neuter, shots etc and adoption.

2. SINGLE KITTENS..we generally do not take bottle feds. so this is for 9-10 week old kittens that either came in with a URI (cold) or developed one while at a store or in our care or have other short term medical needs... Duration is 3-10 days. Ability to give simple meds required. Training provided.. Emergency cell always on! You basically are going to take these kittens, get them well and return them to us for adoption.. 3-10 days only.. In the heart of kitten season you can expect new kittens every 2 weeks to be rotated through. Kittens immune systems do not fully develop until 6 months old.
