Volunteers are needed to visit patients who do not have visitors and or family. Also, read to a patient, play cards or chess, write a letter, obtain books from the Patient Library or just sit and talks with the patient(s).

Volunteer who speak languages other than English are capable of using their language skills by interpreting for the patient.

Project Health Care is a ten-week intensive volunteer internship in the Bellevue Hospital Center Emergency Department.
