Volunteers needed to mentor Cleveland Public School students one-on-one. A Mentor is matched with a student based on both career and personal interests. The goal is to guide the student through high school and into college. The Rotsky Foundation will provide each student, who completes the program, a scholarship award towards college. Mentors are asked to meet with their Protege once a month.

Mission Statement
Mission Statement: The Rotsky Foundation for Mentors was created to provide hope, motivation and encouragement for Cleveland Public School students and to ensure the educational success of each student involved in our mentoring program.
Description
The Rotsky Foundation partners 8th grade students (proteges) with local professionals (mentors) that work in a field of interest to the student. The mentor/protege team is asked to meet at least once a month along with a minimum of two phone conversations per month. Mentors stress the importance of a high school education and encourage proteges to set a goal of "expecting" to attend college. The protege's incentive for completing the program is scholarship money towards college. The Rotsky Foundation's ultimate dream is for our proteges to attend college, graduate, then come back to the foundation to be mentors.
