ORGANIZATION: St. Vincent de Paul Emergency Shelters

Organize food, insure properly wrapped, marked and dated. Discard spoiled or outdated food.

This project is performed as needed. Project can be done any day of the week. Call to schedule a time. Three to five volunteers are needed.

Leader will need to meet with St. Vincent personnel to gather requirements during Monday - Friday work week.

Our mission is to, with Christian purpose, accompany those in need one person at a time by focusing on shelter, food, and clothing.

Description

We are located in Dayton, OH, USA. We have two emergency shelters, one for Men and one for Women & Families.

We serve up to 400 individuals a night between the two shelters. Basic Shelter Services are provided: Safe and Clean environment, Bed, Shower, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Mail Services.
