Alzheimer's Patient Volunteers generally serve both patients and families in nursing facilities. Typically, volunteers visit once a week or more, as your schedule allows.
Our Alzheimer's patients can be in early or late stages of the disease. We would like to have volunteers who have or have had family members with this disease, though anyone who thinks they have the heart for working with sometimes difficult patients may apply to the program by replying to this opportunity.Training classes are offered.
