The Volunteer will welcome patients and their families to Mercy Health, improve the quality of the patient care by providing assistance to patients, and serving as support to the Hospital staff to meet patient concerns. Serves as an example of the mission and philosophy of Mercy Health to all patients, visitors and staff.
Volunteer duties may include: reading to the patient, playing a game or doing a puzzle with the client, getting water or a warm blanket for the patient or visitor.
