ORGANIZATION: Helping Paws

  • 75 people are interested

Helping Paws is an organization that helps homeless animlas. We do this primarily through fundraising. We have volunteers who make and donate animal related crafts (dog treats, dog bandanas, catnip treats etc etc) which we then sell at the events we attend. We also contact a local rescue group and they then bring some of the animals that need homes.

So if you want to help animals and are creative/crafty, we want you!! We aren't picky about what you make, its up to you!

About Helping Paws

Location:

PO Box 1598, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, US

Mission Statement

Helping Paws is a small groups of volunteers committed to supporting local animal rescue efforts through fundraising, assisting in finding animals forever homes, the public education of responsible pet ownership and promoting spay and neuter programs.

Description

Helping Paws is a newly created nonprofit, which is made up of volunteers who care deeply about the welfare of animlas. We plan and carry out fundraising activities that benefit local animal rescue groups. Currently our fundraising activities consist of our volunteers making animal related crafts, gifts and treats, which are displayed at various locations on the weekends. Donations are taken in exchange for the craft/treat. These locations range from the Walmart in Cranberry Twp., to the Clearview Mall in Butler. At the same time, a rescue group is often present with animals that need to find a home. So our volunteers assist with the handling of the animals, talk to the public about proper pet ownership and collect the donations for the craft items.
