Montgomery Parks

Do you enjoy hiking on the nature trails in Montgomery County Parks? We are looking for volunteers to perform inspections and report conditions on various assigned natural surface trails throughout Montgomery Parks.

Volunteers only need to do this once each quarter and within 72 hours after storm events. Actual schedule is up to the volunteer - provided they perform their inspections each quarter. Quarters begin Jan 1, April 1, July 1 and Oct 1.

Trail Rangers will also perform light maintenance tasks as needed. Training is provided and includes an introduction to our trail standards, the inspection process and sending information to the Trails staff.
