Every year The Salvation Army teams with the National Association of Letter Carriers to "Stamp Out Hunger". The local letter carriers collect food from homes in the Glendale area that they donate to our food bank.
Volunteers are stationed at each of the 4 Glendale area Post Offices to collect and box food. The boxes are loaded on trucks and brought to the food pantry. Other volunteers will help unload the trucks at the food pantry.
This is a great service opportunity for church youth groups, families, clubs, and for Boy & Girl Scouts to earn service hours.
