This is a great opportunity for you!! Please join us on 2nd, 3rd and/or 4th Sunday of each month at a program that brings together volunteers with families in need in the San Jose community. Help children write letters, prepare food, learn English through art projects and "shop" for wonderful items in our "store" with the tickets they have earned through our program. Description
Since 1997, Sunday Friends has provided a safe place where underserved families come together with volunteers in a community setting. Through everyday activities such as cooking, serving meals, writing letters to donors, or making cards for nursing home residents, families practice positive life skills that promote self-reliance and a healthy, productive lifestyle.
