This crucial role at National Jewish Health helps patients feel welcomed and supported in the admission process and adult clinic. This is a great position for a volunteer who enjoys interacting with people while being active and providing that so important customer service support.
Assist with patient check in and management in the admissions process.
Assist patients in the adult clinical work up area, supporting clinical staff in the process.
Escort patient to exam room and as needed escort and retrieve patients to and from their appointments on the campus.
Provide wheelchair assistance for patients in need. Training is provided for how to use a wheelchair.
