Airmid Theatre has relocated to UPPER PINELLAS / TAMPA BAY from NYC and we are in need of help to build our production and operating budgets so we can start bringing great theatre to downtown Clearwater and the upper Pinellas area.
If you have been a grant writer and know the area, the players and the resources we can really use your help. With the recent relocation it is like starting from scratch after many years but we hit the ground running! Now we need financial support to build our infrastructure so we can really make things take off.
We seek experienced, professional grant writing and proof reading support. If you have grant writing experience and want to help please drop a note soon!

Mission Statement
The Airmid Theatre Company, founded in 2000, is a National Endowment for the Arts award winning theatre company that produces, recovers, and collects classic plays by women with artists of all genders as the playwrights originally intended. Airmid Theatre Company addresses the systematic problems that affect the daily lives of women and girls through our various programs. With theatre as our method of delivery, we present the concerns of women writers and artists to audiences who are challenged to see and comprehend the world in new ways.
Description
Over the years, Airmid has presented over 40 plays in full productions, readings, commissions and engagement programs that are entertaining and thought-provoking for both theatre lovers and scholars alike. Airmid is committed to telling stories that are life affirming and span the spectrum of human emotion. Comedies that make us laugh. Dramas that touch us. Universal stories that help us all to better understand society across the centuries and our own individual place as part of the world today.
Airmid has once again begun producing in New York City working with our traditional company and expanding our relationships with more of the New York City theatrical community. Our goal is to explore both traditional and non-traditional production opportunities and to re-imagine who we are in this new #MeToo era.
