"LKNT" is seeking dedicated, hardworking, go-getters for positions on our Board of Directors and various committees for the 2024 to 2026 session. We are a non-profit arts and educational organization working towards motivating, strengthening, mentoring, and community building for a better future.

Volunteer Positions Available:

2nd President

Secretary

Treasurer

4 hours (or more) per month for the first 12 weeks


Committee Positions Available:

1. Volunteer Fundraising Director & Assistant (4 hours (or more) per month)

2. Volunteer Membership Committee Director & Assist (4 hours (or more) per month)

3. Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator (4 hours (or more) per month)

4. Volunteer Event Planner & Assist (4 hours per event)

LKNT's mission is to promote diversity and edutainment by ways of using dance, drama, music, storytelling and folk art as an educational tool to teach the world the realities of the rich cultural hertiage of Africa and African American culture and history.

Description

Volunteers are needed to assist in every day administrative duties and evening cultural enrichment activiites involving youth K- 9 grade, girls and women programs.
