Tapestri offers a wide variety of tasks in internship and volunteer opportunities. We gauge the interests and skills of each potential candidate and match their interests accordingly with agency needs. We also offer flexibility by allowing volunteers/interns to complete their tasks from Tapestri's office or at home and during times that are convenient to their schedules. Currently, Tapestri is looking for volunteers to assist with the following:

* Distribute Tapestri's outreach materials on domestic violence;
* Organize community outreach presentations on domestic violence, resources & options;
* Conduct client surveys on services received from Tapestri;
* Review clients' files and enter information into Tapestri's database;
* Research & develop resources for survivors of domestic violence, including resources for health, legal, and language needs;
* Assist with direct services for clients;
* Research for updated information on domestic violence and human trafficking for training materials and website; and
* Write articles based on survivors' stories.

Our programs include legal advocacy for battered immigrant and refugee women, direct services for survivors of human trafficking, community outreach within the community about human trafficking & domestic violence, and trainings for mainstream service providers on working with refugee & immigrant communities.
