We are asking dog loving people to join LBWF and help take our work to the next level. Volunteers are the cornerstone to any non-profit organization and we are reaching out to your kind hearts to join us in this important journey.
We are seeking volunteers to help with many tasks such as (but not limited to): assisting in the feeding of animals, helping to build and maintain dog houses, cleaning and organizing dog houses, kennels, and play yards, creating and distributing flyers, networking via the web and word of mouth, participating in adoption events, and most importantly caring for, playing with, and socializing the many dogs we have rescued.
The need is urgent as the number of abandoned animals has skyrocketed with the failing economy. The hours and days are flexibile and we will try to match your work with your particular expertise.
Currently we need help at our facility in Acton, CA.

Mission Statement
LBWF is a unique safe haven for animals providing top-quality, life long care to the animals it rescues. The emphasis is on proper nutrition, first class medical care, comfortable facilities, training, socializing, and of course, an abundance of love. We ensure that every animal has a second chance at life, as well as a forever, loving home.
Using Ms. Blair's status as a public figure, we bring much needed attention to growing problems. Calling upon the media as an outlet, we are able to educate and raise awareness on important issues such as pet overpopulation, dog fighting, and the senseless ideals behind breed specific banning.
Description
LBWF is a non- profit, 501c3 tax deductible organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused, neglected, and abandon animals from the harsh streets of the Los Angeles area, as well as from the overcrowded and overwhelmed city and county animal shelters.
