UP ON TOP offers a tuition-free after-school and summer program for elementary school students, primarily in the Tenderloin and Western Addition neighborhoods of San Francisco.

UP ON TOP's mission is to offer hope, stability, and fun to children of low-income families, enabling them to be successful in school and in life. We support this mission by providing diverse and inclusive programs with academic assistance, enrichment opportunities, recreational activities and family support services.

Presently, we are looking to enhance the skills, dedication and diversity of our great existing Board members. Specific needs might include neighborhood representation (residential or professional), public-school teaching experience..and of course a kind heart.

Board meetings are scheduled once per month for one hour. Meetings are usually zoom-based with 2 annually in-person. Further time commitment is about 2 additional hours per month.

For more information or to set up an introductory discussion, please contact our executive director BILL FRICKER (bill@upontop.org). THANK YOU!
