Performers on show day!

The All Stars Project (ASP) is a nationally-recognized, independently funded non-profit that was founded 37 years ago. Our mission is to transform the lives of youth and poor communities, using the developmental power of performance. The Chicago affiliate, launched in 2007, currently runs two programs that focus on youth from Chicago’s south and west sides. The All Stars Talent Show Network (ASTSN) provides young people with an opportunity to produce and perform in hip-hop talent shows in their neighborhoods. The Development School for Youth (DSY) is a leadership training program in which young people learn to perform as professionals, and they partner with business leaders who conduct workshops and provide paid summer internships.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with in-office work, event production, conduct research, support with community outreach and the DSY, and assist with other projects that arise. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing opportunities for growth and personal development for our inner-city youth. Hours are ongoing, varied, and flexible.
