Want to Help Someone Along the Road to Recovery? American Cancer Society needs volunteer drivers for cancer patients in Chico, Paradise, Magalia, Oroville, Quincy, Marysville, Yuba City and Redding areas.
Everyday there is a need for volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients safely to and from treatment facilities in your own car on a prearranged schedule.
Requirements: California Good Driving Record, Auto Insurance, car in good working condition, non-smoker and a desire to help others.

Description
For over 40 years, the American Cancer Society has owned and operated a chain of specialty resale stores, created to help support the fight against cancer. The American Cancer Society Discovery Shops accomplish this through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise. These special items which are displayed in beautiful, intimate settings, include clothing, collectibles, jewelry, artwork, furniture and other household finery. The shops are staffed primarily by dedicated volunteers, many of whom have been personally touched by cancer.
