A troop leader works with in between 6 and 30 children but with additional support by as many co-leaders and adult support as necessary. The troop leader has a guidebook, handbook, badgebook, and safetywise to help them with coming up with activities for the children.
The position is highly flexible as activities and meeting place/times is up to you and the girls do a lot of work themselves depending on their age. Meetings are typically held either weekly or bi-weekly for about an hour and a half or two.
Financial Aid is available to help girls be able to participate.
The leader will receive 2 free trainings before meeting with their troop to help guide them through the process of meetings and activitiy planning, and how to use their books.
