Making a Difference
Two of our volunteers preparing sensory stimulating activities to be used with patients dealing with dementia.

Homeside Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide companionship to patients in their home or nursing home in the Princeton and Mercerville Areas. As a companion you will provide a listening ear and a sharing spirit to enhance the patient's emotional and spiritual well-being.

As a volunteer you will provide essential, quality of life services to patients. Your efforts will provide the sort of care and help that a loving friend provides and help insure that the Hospice promise is fulfilled.

Some visits might include reading, watching TV, taking walks, playing music, talking about their life and their family, or shared silence.
