The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston Salem
The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem is looking for volunteer drivers to help older adults in our community maintain good health and independence by providing them transportation to medical appointments. You’ll use your own vehicle, but will be reimbursed for mileage. Volunteer shifts last from 2-4 hours and are between the hours of 9am & 5pm, Monday through Friday. This is a great way to meet great people, hear amazing stories, and learn about your community, which are all benefits to being a volunteer of The Shepherd’s Center. Being a volunteer will also give you member discounts to all of our Vital Living Programs!
PLEASE NOTE: We will be restarting this volunteer service mid-June and providing orientation at the beginning of June. If you respond to this post you will be contacted with information as it becomes available and all is subject to change with the pandemic circumstances.
